Open call for 6 young people from Italy to join the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange" Transition of Traditional Brown Economy to Green Economy" which will be hosted by "Megújulásért Környezetvédelmi Egyesület" in Budapest, Hungary from 10-17th of May 2024. This project is co-funded by Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.
About the project
Today, the world is under the influence of threats such as global warming and climate change caused by environmental factors. These threats deeply affect social and economic life all over the world. One of the measures to be taken is undoubtedly to reduce greenhouse gas emissions on a global scale. However, countries are reluctant in this regard, fearing that it will adversely affect economic growth, and a firm global consensus cannot be achieved. While these concerns are realistic in the short run, they seem unfounded in the long run.
We believe that when the environmental balance is taken into account, the production level may remain low in the short term, and that sustainable growth is possible in the long term and that sustainable growth is possible in parallel with the developing environmental conditions. conditions. By increasing the quality of life, the welfare of the society may increase, but not observing the environmental balance may reduce the long-term growth potential of the country. But our primary goal is to raise our participants' awareness of the concepts of green transformation, recycling, green skills and sustainable environment. In addition, it will be ensured that our participants do awareness activities on these issues and reach other young people.
Why Do We Need Green Transformation?
The concept of green transformation emerges as a concept that encourages the opportunity of transition to a less carbon-intensive economy and a de-carbonized global economy due to the promotion of renewable energy use.
These concepts, mainly developed for climate change and efficient use of resources, cover both economic and environmental sustainability.
