Erasmus+ Youth Exchange "Beyond Borders" in Vadul Lui Voda, Moldova

Open call for participants from Italy to join the upcoming Erasmus+ Youth Exchange "Beyond Borders" which will be organized by "Creative Youth MT" in  Vadul Lui Voda, Moldova from 19-27 April 2024. This project is co-funded by Erasmus+ Program of the European Union. 

About the Project

The world has become more divided along social, political, and racial lines for a variety of reasons, and this divide has also bled into the lives of many refugees and migrants that have entered the continent, which breaks the mould of inclusion and understanding, which is a pillar of the European way of life. The core goal of the youth exchange is to reverse the prejudice and exclusion of migrants and refugees while promoting inclusion and equality through the use of sports.

 

The project objectives

1. Identify the causes that contribute to the youth divide

2. Recognize the negative effects discrimination and exclusion can have on a person's physical and psychological well-being

3. Explore participants' attitudes about violence in order to enhance awareness of the issue

4. Encourage the constructive participation and socialization

5. Create an environment conducive to learning, sharing, and networking.

Financial Conditions and Benefits

During the mobility all expenses such as accommodation, catering, training, etc will be %100 covered by program.

- Participants will stay at the Pensiunea Vacanța della Nonna, Vadul lui Vodă. The capital city of Chisinau is 22 km away. The venue is located next to the river.

- WiFi connection will be limited (we recommend buying a SIM card with mobile data).

- The organizers will not provide the participants with any kind of insurance! Therefore, every participant must acquire travel insurance at their own expense for the whole duration of the youth exchange. Please note that the EU healthcare insurance card is not valid.

- Real cost of travel will be reimbursed up to 275 EUR for participants from Italy.

- Reimbursement of your travel costs can only be done upon submitting ALL the original tickets, invoices, boarding passes etc. Please keep them. 

- Youthpass certificate to enrich your CV.

 

Eligibility

 

- You are Italian or legal resident in Italy.

 

- Aged between 18 - 29 years, There is No age limit for Team leader.

- The group leaders are those who has experience in youth work and familiar with Erasmus+ project concept.

 

- Participants should have a good level in English.

 

- Have a real desire about the project topic.

 

- Ready to do the follow-up activity after finishing the project.

What to Bring?

 

 - Your Passport and must be valid for at least 6 months.

- Bring all your travel documents as presented above;

 

- Find interesting videos/games/exercises/educational activities for the topic;

- Prepare energizers to start the morning with an energy booster;

- Prepare for your country’s cultural evening. Please, try to be fun and creative for
this :) Any kind of activity is welcome (e.g., video presentations, dances, songs,
games, quizzes, posters, flyers, etc.).
 

- Bring clothing and shoes suitable for sports and/or strenuous activities (like dancing)

Extra Days

 

The hosting organization is covering the accommodation ONLY for the stay during the mobility. In the event of an earlier arrival or later departure, participants themselves must cover the accommodation.

 

- In addition, we can only cover tickets up to 3 days earlier or after the project date. If you are planning to stay longer after the project or arrive earlier, please inform us before booking your tickets. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee your reimbursement. Please note that any indirect routes taken for personal travel will not be reimbursed.

Rules and procedures
 

- All the participants will be expected to be present and active in all the activities.

- Unauthorized absence from the activities and workshops won‘t be tolerated.

- Respect the common areas and leave them clean.

- Be on time every session.

- Respect the schedule.

- Don't disturb after midnight.

- Any lack of respect among participants and staff won't be tolerated.

- Stress, nerves and bad mood is prohibited everywhere. Bring your best mood and big smile with you and keep it through the Exchange! Prepare for fun!
