call for participants from Italy to join Erasmus+ Youth Exchange
"Toy's Language" in Samsun, Turkiye from 1-7 December 2023. This project is organised by Düş Atölyesi and funded by Erasmus+ program of the European Union.
About Samsun
Samsun, historically known as Sampsounta and Amisos, is a city on the north coast of Turkey and a major Black Sea port. Over 700,000 people live in the city. The city is the capital of Samsun Province which has a population of over 1,350,000. The city is the metropolitan centre for a fertile agricultural hinterland and the main outlet for the trade of the middle Black Sea coast. Its growth during the later 19th century is associated with the development of tobacco growing in adjoining Bafra ilçe (district) and the use of modern ships on the Black Sea.
Project Content
- Raising awareness about the important role of toys in raising healthy children
- Emphasizing that children learn the rules and norms of society most easily and safely while playing games.
- To inform people about what to pay attention to when buying toys,
- To examine the effect of toys on child development and how toys benefit children according to their personal developmental stage
- Raising awareness about which safety precautions should be taken when buying toys
- Highlighting the fact that children need toys and play for their development
- The examination of the educational power of toys, which are one of the most important tools that contribute significantly to the physical, mental and psycho-social development of the child and develop the child's imagination and creativity.
Financial Conditions and Benefits
During the mobility all expenses such as accommodation,
catering, training, etc will be %100 covered by program.
- Participants will be accommodated at 2/3 stars in Samsun, Turkiye. The participants will stay in double and triple rooms based on same gender.
- The free WiFi is available
- The breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be served at hotel restaurant.
- Towels, bed sheets and pillows are provided.
- The drug is a crime and prohibited in the country itself.
- Real cost of travel will be reimbursed up to 360 EUR for
participants from Italy.

Reimbursement of your travel costs can only be done upon submitting ALL
the original tickets, invoices, boarding passes etc. Please keep them.
- Youthpass certificate to enrich your CV.
Eligibility
- You are Italian or legal resident in Italy.
- Aged between 18 - 30 years, There is No age limit for Team leader.

Participants should have interest and talent in art, to be interested
to use it art expressions as a tool for political education, active
citizenship and social inclusion. (theater, circus, video, comic, stage
design or music).
- The group leaders are those who has experience in youth work and familiar with Erasmus+ project concept.
- Participants should have a good command of English.
- Ready to do the follow-up activity after finishing the project.

What to Bring?

All the participants coming from the EU countries should bring their European
Health Card. They can use the free European Health Insurance Card (EHIC)
to allow cover private health care, non- emergency health costs, or
being flown back to your home country.
- Your Passport /
National ID / Residence permit for non- EU citizens
- Winter Clothes.
- Coat, Slipper, Sneakers, Towels, tooth paste and tooth brush.
- Personal
medicine, Cosmetics, mosquito repellent.
- National /
Traditional food, drinks, clothes, music or other things of your country you
would like to present/ show for intercultural evenings.
- Music, games,
photos and other are also welcome.
- Some sport /
casual clothes as well, as You can for the Energizers.
- Positive energy
and open-minded attitude.

Extra Days
Participants
are allowed to arrive and depart 3 days before/after the mobility dates
by covering their own expenses outside the mobility dates. During the
mobility all expenses are covered.

Rules and procedures
- All the participants will be expected to be present and active in all the activities.
- Unauthorized absence from the activities and workshops won‘t be tolerated.
- Respect the common areas and leave them clean.
- Be on time every session.
- Respect the schedule.
- Don't disturb after midnight.
- Any lack of respect among participants and staff won't be tolerated.

Stress, nerves and bad mood is prohibited everywhere. Bring your best
mood and big smile with you and keep it through the Exchange! Prepare
for fun!

our activities we support the principle of a safer space, where no-one
is discriminated or bullied because of their background or person. We

are closely
monitoring the situation with Covid-19 and will take all measures
necessary for the safeness of participants. In order to apply you should
