Youth Exchange "Television and child culture" in Modena, Italy

Open call for 8 Participants from Italy to join Erasmus+ Youth Exchange "Television and child culture" which organized and hosted by "Entrepreneur and Volunteer stars of Europe" in Modea, Italy for 9 days ( including travel days) in August 2023. the project is Financed by Erasmus+ Program of European Union.


About Modena

Modena is a city and comune (municipality) on the south side of the Po Valley, in the Province of Modena, in the Emilia-Romagna region of northern Italy.
 
Deeply rooted in history, Iasi has been the main centre of Moldavian culture, since late 1300s. The city prides itself with being the place in which the first Romanian newspaper has been published. Iasi is also the home of the first Romanian university and is - during the present time - the second-largest university centre in Romania.


Project Objectives
 
- Contrary to popular belief that television, which is one of the means of mass communication, which we consider as a tool that children spend their time,, we will raise awareness among the participants that it takes many things from its life instead of giving something to the child. For this reason, we have primarily aimed to raise awareness of people who will become parents and future generations.
 
- At the same time, local people will have knowledge and knowledge about the subject by organizing activities in which local people participate.
 
- Because our activities are group works that require active participation, our participants will realize the different countries and cultures that are the priorities of the Erasmus + program and will learn by living.
 
- By knowing different cultures closely, they will get away from their possible prejudices and they will avoid any kind of racism and discrimination.
 
- We will raise awareness about how to make children gain consciousness by watching television and keep children away from television as much as possible.
 
 
Eligibility
 
- You are an Italian or holder a residence permit in Italy.
 
- Aged between 18- 30 years old.
 
- Have a good command of English Language.
 
- Able to work in a team, responsible, flexible and motivated by this project.
 
- Able to attend the full duration of the project.

Languages

The working language during the project will be English.
 

Finance and Benefits
 
- For Italian Participants, there is no travel reimbursements.

- You will be accommodated 2/3 star hotel.

- You will get 3 meals per day and 2 coffee breaks.

- Project Materials will be provided by the host organization.
 
 
What to Bring?
 
- All the participants coming from the EU should bring their European Health Card. They can use the free European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) to allow cover private health care, non- emergency health costs, or being flown back to your home country. 
 
- Your Passport / National ID
 
- Slipper, Sneaker, Towels, tooth paste, tooth brush, and your personal hygiene tools. 
 
- Personal medicine and Cosmetics (if you need them)
 
- National / Traditional food, drinks, clothes, music or other Things of your country you would like to present/ show for intercultural evenings.
 
- Music, games, photos and other are also welcome.
 
- Some sport / casual clothes as well, as You can.
 
 
Timeline
 
Arrival day: 3rd of August 2023.
 
Departure Day: 11th of August 2023.
 
Note: Please, do not ask to leave earlier than the mentioned above project dates since it is not allowed by the Erasmus+ program regulations as well.
 
 
Rules and procedures
 
- All the participants will be expected to be present and active in all the activities.

- Unauthorized absence from the activities and workshops won‘t be tolerated.

- Respect the common areas and leave them clean.

- Be on time every session.

- Respect the schedule.

- Don‘t disturb after midnight.

- Any lack of respect among participants and staff won't be tolerated.

- Stress, nerves and bad mood is prohibited everywhere. Bring your best mood and big smile with you and keep it through the Exchange! Prepare for fun!

In our activities we support the principle of a safer space, where no-one is discriminated or bullied because of their background or person. We want you to respect the same principle.

We are closely monitoring the situation with Covid-19 and will take all measures necessary for the safeness of participants. In order to apply you should familiarize yourself with the Covid-19 rules when traveling to Italy.
