Youth Exchange "Consumer Society" in Trabzon, Turkiye

Erasmus+ Youth Exchange "Consumer Society" organised by "Bilinçli Tüketiciler Topluluğu" in Trabzon, Turkiye for 6 days ( including travel days) in June 2023. the project is Financed by Erasmus+ Program of European Union.

About Trabzon

Trabzon, historically known as Trebizond, is a city on the Black Sea coast of northeastern Turkey and the capital of Trabzon Province. The pearl of the Black Sea, the host of the natural beauties that the world watches with admiration, the crowns of the delicacies that come from the bosom of nature; Despite the rainfall seen in all seasons, Trabzon is the center of attention for both local and foreign tourists. 

With its refreshing nature, sincere people and sustainable economy, Trabzon has a dynamic life worth seeing.

 

Project Contents

The project activity plan has been planned in accordance with our goals.Contents of our project are as in the following:

• The project activity plan has been planned in accordance with our goals.

• Consumption-themed activities have been planned in order to instill consumption awareness in our youth.

• An activity plan has been prepared to make young people active in order to ensure that they are not only beneficial for themselves but also for the society.

• Cultural activities to prevent discrimination and ensure cultural interaction have been designed.

• In order to ensure that young people with fewer opportunities can benefit from the Erasmus plus program, young people with limited opportunities have been included in our project.

• Our dissemination activities have been planned in order to make the Erasmus plus program and project popular.

• In order to create an atmosphere of friendship and tolerance, participants from the same country will be accommodated in different rooms.

 

 

Eligibility

 

- You are an Italian or holder a residence permit in Italy.

 

- Aged between 18-30 years old, No age limit for the team leader

 

- Have a good level in English Language.

 

- Able to work in a team, responsible, flexible and motivated by this project.

 

- Able to attend the full duration of the project.

 

 

Partner Countries

 

Italy - Portugal - Turkey - Romania - Lithuania - Czech Republic

(5 participants per country + 1 group leader).

 

Languages

The working language during the project will be English.

 

Finance and Benefits

 

- For Italian Participants, Your travel expenses will be reimbursed up to 275 EUR for Round trip after finishing the project.

- You will be accommodated at 2/3 starts hotel in shared rooms with another participants.

- You will get 3 meals per day and 2 coffee break.

- Project Materials are provided by the host organization.

 

 

What to Bring?

 

- All the participants coming from the EU should bring their European Health Card. They can use the free European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) to allow cover private health care, non- emergency health costs, or being flown back to your home country. 

 

- Your Passport / National ID

 

- Slipper, Sneaker, Towels, tooth paste, tooth brush, and your personal hygiene tools. 

 

- Personal medicine and Cosmetics (if you need them)

 

- National / Traditional food, drinks, clothes, music or other Things of your country you would like to present/ show for intercultural evenings.

 

- Music, games, photos and other are also welcome.

 

- Some sport / casual clothes as well, as You can.

 

 

Timeline

 

Arrival day: 18th of June 2023.

 

Departure Day: 26th of June 2023.

 

Note: Please, do not ask to leave earlier than the mentioned above project dates since it is not allowed by the Erasmus+ program regulations as well.

 

 

Extra Days

 

Please note, that you are allowed to stay in Turkey 2 extra days before and after the project and if you decide to do so, it will be on your own responsibility to cover your accommodation and food expenses.

 

 

How to get Project Venue?

- The first option is flying to Istanbul and then you need to fly again to Trabzon by taking a direct flight from Istanbul Airport (SAW) to Trabzon Airport (TZX), its around (1hr 40min).

 

-  The second option is flying to Munich, Berlin, Frankfurt then take direct flight to Trabzoun.

Rules and procedures
 

- All the participants will be expected to be present and active in all the activities.

- Unauthorized absence from the activities and workshops won‘t be tolerated.

- Respect the common areas and leave them clean.

- Be on time every session.

- Respect the schedule.

- Don‘t disturb after midnight.

- Any lack of respect among participants and staff won't be tolerated.

- Stress, nerves and bad mood is prohibited everywhere. Bring your best mood and big smile with you and keep it through the Exchange! Prepare for fun!

Saftey and Covid-19

 

In our activities we support the principle of a safer space, where no-one is discriminated or bullied because of their background or person. We want you to respect the same principle.

We are closely monitoring the situation with Covid-19 and will take all measures necessary for the safeness of participants. In order to apply you should familiarize yourself with the Covid-19 rules when traveling to Turkey.
