Youth Exchange "Power is in Differences, Not Similarities" in Bitola, Macedonia

If you are interested in improving your personal skills and know more about MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCE like logical, visual, musical, intro-personal, kin-esthetic, interpersonal, naturalistic, and linguistic, so we would like to invite you to participate in Erasmus+ Youth Exchange "Power is in Differences, Not Similarities. the project will be organised by "Association for Youth and Lifelong Learning FRIENDSHIP PLUS Bitola" in Bitola, Macedonia for 7 days ( including travel days) in April 2023. the project is Financed by Erasmus+ Program of European Union.

About Bitola

In the southwest part of Macedonia is the city of Bitola - administrative, cultural, economic, industrial, educational and scientific centre for that part of the country. The city is known as the "city of the consuls", because here the consular offices of the European countries were in the Ottoman Empire, where together with Thessaloniki it was the most important point in the European part of the Empire.

there are many beautiful places you can visit in Bitola like:-

3. NI Institute and Museum Bitola (921m from downtown)

4. the Clock tower (160m from downtown)

Project Summary

Every individual is different. In this context, individual differences should be taken into account in the education of people. The most important output in the achievements of the project is to make individuals realize how inadequate they are at the point of self-discovery and to bring their individual sides to the fore. As individuals get to know themselves, they realize their ideals, make healthy career plans, discover the environments where they feel themselves, and gain different perspectives.

 

 

 

Project Objectives

• To allow individuals to discover themselves.
• To realize that the prerequisite for healthy career planning is to know oneself.
• To introduce different educational philosophies.
• To increase the visibility of Multiple Intelligence Theory.
• To prevent grouping individuals according to their similarities.
• To make individuals realize that their different features are not a flaw but a privilege.
• To support lowering the age of self-discovery of children.
• To support gaining a world view.

 

Eligibility

 

- You are Italian or holder a residence permit in Italy.

 

- Aged between 17 - 30 years, There is No age limit for the team leader.

 

- Have a good command of English Language.

 

- Able to work in a team, responsible, flexible and motivated by this project.

- Able to attend the full duration of the project.

 

 

Partner Countries

 

Macedonia - Italy - France - Turkey - Romania - Poland

(7 participants per country + 1 group leader with no age limit).

 

Languages

The working language during the project will be English.

 

Finance and Benefits

 

- For Italian Participants, Your travel expenses will be reimbursed up to 275 EUR for Round trip after finishing the project.

- You will be accommodated at 2/3 starts hotel in shared rooms with another participants (Same Gender).

- You will get 3 meals per day.

- Project Materials will be provided by host organization.

 

 

What to Bring?

 

- All the participants coming from the EU should bring their European Health Card. They can use the free European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) to allow cover private health care, non- emergency health costs, or being flown back to your home country. 

 

- Your Passport / National ID

 

- Slipper, Sneaker, Towels, tooth paste, tooth brush, and your personal hygiene tools. 

 

- Personal medicine and Cosmetics (if you need them)

 

- National / Traditional food, drinks, clothes, music or other Things of your country you would like to present/ show for intercultural evenings.

 

- Music, games, photos and other are also welcome.

 

- Some sport / casual clothes as well, as You can.

 

 

 

Timeline

 

Arrival day: 25th of April 2023.

 

Departure Day: 1st of May 2023.

 

Note: Please, do not ask to leave earlier than the mentioned above project dates since it is not allowed by the Erasmus+ program regulations as well.

 

 

Extra Days

 

Please note, that you are allowed to stay in Macedonia 2 extra days before and after the project and if you decide to do so it will be your own responsibility to cover your accommodation and food expenses.

Rules and procedures
 

- All the participants will be expected to be present and active in all the activities.

- Unauthorized absence from the activities and workshops won‘t be tolerated.

- Respect the common areas and leave them clean.

- Be on time every session.

- Respect the schedule.

- Don‘t disturb after midnight.

- Any lack of respect among participants and staff won't be tolerated.

- Stress, nerves and bad mood is prohibited everywhere. Bring your best mood and big smile with you and keep it through the Exchange! Prepare for fun!

Saftey and Covid-19

 

In our activities we support the principle of a safer space, where no-one is discriminated or bullied because of their background or person. We want you to respect the same principle.

We are closely monitoring the situation with Covid-19 and will take all measures necessary for the safeness of participants. In order to apply you should familiarize yourself with the Covid-19 rules when traveling to Macedonia.
