Training Course" Environment and Art in Nature with Scouts" in Gevgelija, Macedonia

If you are interested about Environmental Issues and to contribute to the social, cultural, and scientific development of youth, we invite you to apply for Erasmus+ Training course "Environment and Art in Nature with Scouts". the project will be organised by "organisation for women municipality Gevgelija" in Gevgelija, Macedonia for 8 days ( including travel days) in January 2023. the project is Financed by Erasmus+ Programme of European Union.


About Gevgelija

Gevgelija is a city in the southeastern region of Macedonia, located in the Gevgelija-Valandovo valley - district of Bojmija, near the border with Greece. This area has always been a significant crossroad for passengers and goods traveling from Europe to the Middle East or vice versa.

Project Contents

During the project there will be activities especially about ''to contribute to environmental protection, art'' Preparing the environment for youth to discover themselves through outdoor activities'' and ''To contribute to the social, cultural, and scientific development of youth” All activities are decided and planed with all participants.

Participants took democratic place by planning of the project and prepared it all together. By choosing the leaders from young generation we aim to give chance to youngsters and barrier possible generation difference at the project.

All activities will include youngsters from each country and that’s why the borders between youngsters will disappear and their prejudice will decrease. Youngsters are going to take active place at all activities and active learning method, applied education, discussion, question-answer, brain storming, effective learning, visual and auditory education methods will all be used so the methods fill their own missing parts.


Eligibility
 
- You are Italian or holder a residence permit in Italy.
 
- Aged between 18 - 30 years, There is No age limit for Team leader.
 
- Have a good Command of English Language.
 
- Able to work in a team, responsible, flexible and motivated by this project.

- Able to attend the full duration of the project.

Romania - Italy - Macedonia- Spain - Turkiye

There will be 8 participants from Each Country.
 

Finance and Benefits
 
- For Italian Participants, Your Travel Expenses will be reimbursed up to 275 EUR for Round trip.
 
- Host organisation will reimburse the travel expenses in cash last day on the project.

- You will be accommodated in shared rooms with another participants (Same Gender) at Premium Hotel Gevgelija.

- You will get 3 meals and coffee break per day.

- Project Materials will be provided by host organisation.
 
 
What to Bring?
 
- All the participants coming from the EU should bring their European Health Card. They can use the free European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) to allow cover private health care, non- emergency health costs, or being flown back to your home country. 
 
- Your Passport / National ID
 
- Winter Clothes.
 
- Coat, Slipper, Sneakers, Towels, tooth paste and tooth brush.
 
- Personal medicine, Cosmetics, mosquito repellent.
 
- National / Traditional food, drinks, clothes, music or other Things of your country you would like to present/ show for intercultural evenings
 
- Music, games, photos and other are also welcome
 
- Some sport / casual clothes as well, as You can
 
- Positive energy and open-minded attitude

Arrival day: 23rd of January 2023
 
Departure Day: 30th of January 2023
 
 
Extra Days
 
Participants can spend in in total 3 extra days on their own costs in the country before the project starts and/or after the project. If you stay over 3 days, then we cannot reimburse to you at all.

 
How to get Project Venue?


- For Italian participants, it will be better to fly to Skopje airport in Macedonia or Thessaloniki in Greece.


- Host organisation will pick up participants from Skopje airport to project Venue.

Rules and procedures
 
- All the participants will be expected to be present and active in all the activities.

- Unauthorized absence from the activities and workshops won‘t be tolerated.

- Respect the common areas and leave them clean.

- Be on time every session.

- Respect the schedule.

- Don‘t disturb after midnight.

- Any lack of respect among participants and staff won't be tolerated.

- Stress, nerves and bad mood is prohibited everywhere. Bring your best mood and big smile with you and keep it through the Exchange! Prepare for fun!


Saftey and Covid-19
 
In our activities we support the principle of a safer space, where no-one is discriminated or bullied because of their background or person. We want you to respect the same principle.

We are closely monitoring the situation with Covid-19 and will take all measures necessary for the safeness of participants. In order to apply you should familiarise yourself with the Covid-19 rules when traveling to Macedonia.
