Youth Exchange " Danger of Media: DISCRIMINATION " in Eskilstuna, Sweden

Amazing Youth Exchange Project about Danger of Media in Eskilstuna, Sweden for youth based in Italy and another countries. This project will be organized by Integration för Bättre Framtid in Sweden.

 

Aims of the project

 

- To ensure that societies perceive the hate speech used for women and ethnic origin.

 

- To be able to announce our voices in order to make media do arrangements in the language used by the media organs -To provide cultural exchange for young people.

 

- To draw attention to the issue of language discrimination in media which is not recognized in society, to make the hate speech used against women and ethnic origin noticed by societies.

 

- To be able to make our voice heard to them, to strengthen intercultural communication, especially in the name of the media organs to go to regulations in the language they use when creating news. 

- Enabling young people to exchange culture.

- Breaking prejudices against different cultures.

 

 

Eligibility

 

- You are Italian or resident in Italy.

 

- Aged between 18 - 30 years.

 

- Have a good Command of English Language.

 

- Able to work in a team, responsible, flexible and motivated by this project.

- Able to attend the full duration of the project.

 

 

Partner countries

 

Poland - Portugal - Turkey - Russian Federation - Latvia - Spain - Italy 

There will be 7 participants from Each Country.

Finance and Benefits

- Your Travel Expenses will be reimbursed up to 275 EUR for Round trip.

- You will be accommodated in shared rooms at the hotel.

- You will get 3 meals and 2 coffee breaks per day.

- Project Material will be provided by host organisation.

 

 

What to Bring?

 

- Your Passport / National ID

 

- you are very welcomed and invited to bring some specialties from your country or region (food, drinks, candies...- ) In order to organize a specialty evening and some tasty intercultural learning.

- Music, games, photos and other are also welcome.

- some sport / casual clothes as well, as You can.

In our activities we support the principle of a safer space, where no-one is discriminated or bullied because of their background or person. We want you to respect the same principle.

We are closely monitoring the situation with Covid-19 and will take all measures necessary for the safeness of participants. In order to apply you should familiarise yourself with the Covid-19 rules when traveling to Sweden.
